First off, if you are an American you do not need a visa to go to Europe only a passport, unless you will be there for longer than 3 months in which you will need a visa. You can get a passport through your local post office and for a visa contact your embassy either in Europe or in the states, the consulate of the country you are going to. Independence Day is commonly associated with parades, barbecues, picnics, baseball games, and various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the U.S. Fireworks have been associated with the Fourth of July since 1777.
