So, the next time you are celebrating a holiday, think about where the holiday originated or how others celebrate it, you might learn something and be amazed.

As fall approach, many people start to think about Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the Christmas season. What a lot of people do not realize is that different countries celebrate these holidays in different ways.

Halloween, Christmas

For instance, Halloween has become very Americanized with candy and costumes and Thanksgiving is celebrating America becoming a country. Christmas is not celebrated in many countries and is a very Christian religion, therefore Muslims and other religions do not celebrate it. Some countries, such as Germany celebrate Christmas on the 24th of December, instead of on the 25th, like Americans do. Also, in some countries Santa is not non-existent and in other countries the version of Chris Kringle wears blue not red.
